Blooming Tea

Making blooming tea, also called flowering tea, is an art form that is created by hand-sewing quality tea and flowers together in a predetermined way to create a tea bundle or ball.

When immersed in a glass teapot or clear vessel filled with properly heated water, the RCM Tea Shop bundle slowly unfurls and transforms into floral artistry. Then, the tea is ready to be served and enjoyed. Blooming teas come in many formations and colors. The bundles make wonderful gifts for any occasion and are a visual treat when entertaining.

Playing Dragons Blooming Tea

Artistry tea that unfolds to show two dragons (the jasmine tendrils) playing with a ball (the globe amaranth) on a field of green and gold (green tea and marigold).

Brewing Guidelines: Use 1 dragon tea bundle per 24 - 36 oz pot. Pour boiling water over tea and steep for 5 to 10 minutes as the dragons reveal themselves before your eyes. Caffeine: 20 mg / 6 oz cup.

Flower Basket Blooming Tea
